Prescriptions and prescription refills are filled only during regular office hours when the doctor has access to your medical record/chart.
Requests for prescriptions or prescription refills will not be taken or called in after regular office hours or over the weekend by the doctor on call.
For your convenience, all obstetrical/pregnant patients are given a list of over-the-counter/non-prescription medications that can be taken during pregnancy. Please refer to the list before calling for advice.
If your request is for pain medication, you must make an appointment. The doctor does not re-fill pain medication without being seen in the office.
We do not overbook appointments. The time of your appointment is reserved for you. However, because of the very nature of Obstetrics and Gynecology, emergencies, deliveries or surgery may cause us to run late. We appreciate your patience in these matters. Rest assured that you will never be rushed through an appointment because we are running behind.
